War and Peace of Ahle Bait (peace be upon them)

Zaid Ibn Arqam reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali, Fatemah, Hasan and Husain (peace be on them all),

“I am at war with the one whom you fight and at peace with the one with whom you are at peace.”

Note:

Apparently, all the people of the cloak were together and the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to them this statement in the presence of other Muslims.

Whoever is your enemy, I am his enemy and whoever is at peace with you I am at peace with him. “You” means all the Imams (peace be upon them).

We should go through the annals of history and classify the people whether they were friends/supporters/helper of Ahle Bait (peace be upon them) or their enemies? We should be very clear in our minds as to where we must align ourselves, regardless of our preconceived notions and beliefs.
