عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْكُنَاسِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ اَبُو جَعْفَرٍؑ لَيْسَ تَبْقَى الْاَرْضُ يَا اَبَا خَالِدٍ يَوْماً وَاحِداً بِغَيْرِ حُجَّةٍ لِلهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَ لَمْ يَبْقَ مُنْذُ خَلَقَ اللهُ آدَمَ وَ اَسْكَنَهُ الْاَرْضَ
Yazeed al-Kunaasi reports that Imam Muhammad al-Baqer (peace be upon him) informed, “O Abaa Khalid! The earth cannot survive even for one single day without Allah’s proof upon the people. Nor has it survived since Allah created Adam and made him inhabit the earth.”

Al-Kunaasah is an area of Kufa. Al-Kunaasi was from there.
