عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهٖ عَلَیْہِمُ السَّلَامُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهٖ اَرْبَعَةٌ اَنَا الشَّفِيعُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ لَوْ اَتَوْنِي بِذُنُوبِ اَهْلِ الْاَرْضِ مُعِينٌ لِاَهْلِ بَيْتِي وَ الْقَاضِي لَهُمْ حَوَائِجَهُمْ عِنْدَ مَا اضْطُرُّوا اِلَيْهِ وَ الْمُحِبُّ لَهُمْ بِقَلْبِهِ وَ لِسَانِهِ وَ الدَّافِعُ عَنْهُمْ بِيَدِهِ
Dawood Ibn Sulaiman reports from Imam al-Reza (peace be on him) vide his ancestors (peace be on them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him and his progeny) informed, “On the Day of Judgment, I will be the intercessor of four kinds of people even if they come to me with the sins of the entire people of the earth: One who assists my Ahle Bait (peace be on them); one who fulfils their needs; one who loves them with his heart and his tongue and one who defends them with his hand.”
