قَالَ اَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِؑ لِحُمْرَانَ بْنِ اَعْيَنَ يَا حُمْرَانُ اِنِ الدُّنْيَا عِنْدَ الْاِمَامِ وَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْاَرَضِينَ اِلَّا هَكَذَا وَ اَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ اِلَى رَاحَتِهِ يَعْرِفُ ظَاهِرَهَا وَ بَاطِنَهَا وَ دَاخِلَهَا وَ خَارِجَهَا وَ رَطْبَهَا وَ يَابِسَهَا
Imam Sadeq (peace be upon him) said to Humraan Ibn A’yan,
“O Humraan! Surely the world in front of Imam and the heavens and the earths are not except like this” indicating with his hand towards his palm, “he knows it apparent, its concealed, its inner, its outer, its dryness and its wetness.”
