اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی سِرْتُ فِیهِمْ بِمَا أَمَرَنِی رَسُولُکَ وَ صَفِیُّکَ فَظَلَمُونِی وَ قَتَلْتُ الْمُنَافِقِینَ کَمَا أَمَرْتَنِی فَجَهِلُونِی وَ قَدْ مَلِلْتُهُمْ وَ مَلُّونِی وَ أَبْغَضْتُهُمْ وَ أَبْغَضُونِی وَ لَمْ تَبْقَ خَلَّةٌ أَنْتَظِرُهَا إِلَّا الْمُرَادِیَّ اللَّهُمَّ فَعَجِّلِ لَهُ الشَّقَاءَ وَ تَغَمَّدْنِی بِالسَّعَادَةِ اللَّهُمَّ قَدْ وَعَدَنِی نَبِیُّکَ أَنْ تَتَوَفَّانِی إِلَیْکَ إِذَا سَأَلْتُکَ اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ رَغِبْتُ إِلَیْکَ فِی ذَلِکَ
“O Allah! I lived among them (people) according to what Your Prophet and chosen one (peace be on him and his progeny) had ordered me but they (people) oppressed me. I killed the hypocrites on Your command but they neglected me. I reprimanded them but these people reprimanded me back. I hated them (for You) but they bore enmity with me. And now I do not have anything which I await except al-Muraadi (Ibn Muljim). O Allah! Hasten the wrtechedness for him and the good fortune for me. O Allah! Surely Your Prophet (peace be on him and his progeny) promised me that You will make me die when I ask you. O Allah, surely I am desirous of it from You.”
