Section One: Concerning the miracles of Ameerul Momineen, Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him)

  1. The miracles of his (peace be upon him) birth
  2. Surely Imam Ali (peace be upon him) was named as Ameerul Momineen on the day Allah the Almighty took the covenant (from the creation)
  3. Surely the Lord had private conversations with Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on the Day of (the battle of) Tai’f
  4. Surely Allah showed Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) seven times during the night of Me’raj

  175. Surely on the Day (of the battle) of Siffeen – in the armies of Muaviya (l.a.) there was a group of 1000 horsemen and each of them saw Imam Ali (peace be upon him) fighting against them
  176. The Jew who used to cross the water over the Martah by the name of Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) looked at the water and it froze
  177. The stone which converted into gold by the name of Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him)
  178. The conversion of a pebble of the mosque into jewels and its return to being a pebble
  179. The stone which changed into a quince then it changes into an apple then it changed back into a stone

The appearance of the children of a lover of Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) like the children of Muaviya (l.a.) in order to protect the children of the man and the transformation of his wealth into scorpions and snakes to protect it from thieves and then back into the children of the man (during his journey) from Syria to Kufa at one time.
  181. The transformation of mountains into silver then into musk and amber and perfume and jewels and rubies and the trees (transforming into) men and the rocks (into) lions and tigers and vipers by his (peace be upon him) Dua
  182. The speech of the whips of the Jew which turned into snakes due to the curse of Hazrat Salman-e-Mohammadi (peace be upon him), for the sake of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and salutations upon him (peace be upon him) (i.e. Imam Ali (peace be upon him))
  183. The speech of the clothes and the slippers
  184. The speech of the mountains and the rocks and the stones and others

  189. The ease of his pains on the night of his (peace be upon him) sleeping on the bed and the removal of the swellings which had been afflicted upon him (peace be upon him) by the polytheists and the cutting of iron from his foot when he was tied up and other (miracles)
  190. Surely Allah, the Mighty and the Majestic took pride in his (peace be upon him) sleeping on the bed, before the angels
  191. The dirham which was gifted by Allah and he (peace be upon him) sold it to Jibraeel (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) hosted Holy Prophet (sa.w.a.) and his son (peace be upon him)
  192. Surely he (peace be upon him) showed Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) to Umar (l.a.) and near Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) was a bow and its transformation into a snake
  193. Surely he (peace be upon him) was digging in the trench of Khandaq and Jibraeel (peace be upon him) was sweeping the earth and Mikaeel (peace be upon him) was helping him
  194. Jibraeel (peace be upon him) prevented Holy Prophet (peace be upon her) from standing up when Abu Bakr (l.a.), Umar (l.a.) and Uthman (l.a.) came and the jostling of the angels to open the door for Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) got up for him then he congratulated him.
  195. His knowledge of the document of Umar ibn Khattab (l.a.) and his companions and the agreement between them

The obedience of two trees to Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and similarly for Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) and the bringing of Umar (l.a.), Muaviya (l.a.) and Yazid (l.a.) before Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) by the angels (peace be upon him) and other miracles
  197. He (peace be upon him) plucked hairs from the beard of Muaviya (l.a.) (while he (peace be upon him) was in Najaf and Muaviya (l.a.) was in Damascus) and he (l.a.) fell a long distance away from his throne (in Damascus)
  198. The transformation of his (peace be upon him) bow into the staff of Hazrat Moosa (peace be upon him)
  199. The transformation of the scroll into a snake and the speech of two scrolls with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and his Successor (peace be upon him)

The water which he caused to emerge (peace be upon him) for his companions at the time of (the Battle of) Siffeen when they complained to them that they had exhausted all of their water and the uprooting of the stone and the incident of the Christian monk and other miracles at the time of (the Battle of) Siffeen
  203. The water which he (peace be upon him) caused to appear for his companions when he was going towards Karbala
  204. The water which he (peace be upon him) caused to appear from the fountain of Mariam (peace be upon her) and the his (peace be upon him) recognition by the Christian monk due to his presence at Zawraa
  205. Surely he (peace be upon him) quenched the thirst of his companions from the water under a stone and he pulled it and threw it from the fountain of Rahooma; and the Christian monk (who lived) there in the village of Sandoodaa
  206. The water which he (peace be upon him) extracted after his return from Siffeen from under a stone and the incident of a Christian monk
  207. The water which he (peace be upon him) extracted for his companions during his journey towards Siffeen
  208. His (peace be upon him) recognition by a Christian, who had with him a book and he (as.) matched (the description in the book)

  227. Surely he (peace be upon him) travelled from the beginning to the west in a single day
  228. Surely he (peace be upon him) rode on a cloud which traversed with him through the seven earths
  229. His (peace be upon him) riding on a cloud and other miracles like this
  230. The two clouds of which he (peace be upon him) rode on one and another person rode on the other and other miracles like this

  384. The hand which came out from the grave of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) for Abu Bakr (l.a.) and the speech from it when he (l.a.) removed Imam Ali (peace be upon him) from Mastership (over the Muslims)
  385. The hand which came out from the grave of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) for Umar (l.a.) when he removed Imam Ali (peace be upon him) (from Caliphate) concerning Abu Bakr (l.a.)
  386. The man who choked when he claimed what he (peace be upon him) had said

  396. Concerning the man to whom he (peace be upon him) said, Go away! And his (l.a.) head turned into the head of a dog

  398. His (peace be upon him) knowledge of the number of people who would go forth from the army from Kufa and his (peace be upon him) knowledge of what shall afflict each person from his companions from the portions
  399. The angels who fought in the Battle of Badr were in the form of Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him)
  400. The Ahzaab (Parties – Holy Quran) when they were defeated were 70 groups and each group saw Imam Ali (peace be upon him) (defeating) them
  401. Surely Jibraeel (peace be upon him), Mikaeel (peace be upon him) and the Angel of Death were present in every Saryah (battle) and there was a cloud which used to shade him (peace be upon him)
  402. Jibraeel (peace be upon him) raised him (peace be upon him) on the Day (of the Battle) of Ohud
  403. Surely Iblees fled from him on the Day (of the Battle) of Badr
  404. The Angel of Death recognized him (peace be upon him) and surely Allah created an angel who used to resemble him (peace be upon him)
  405. Surely Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) saw Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the Holy Imams (peace be upon them) on the Night of Me’araj in a pool of light
  406. The parchment of paper (from heaven) on which was written: The love of Ali (peace be upon him) is obligatory upon you
  407. Fire did not burn his (peace be upon him) house – (this incident is about Imam Ali ibn Husain (peace be upon him) not Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him))
  408. He (peace be upon him) informed about the numbers who would come from the army of Kufa
  409. Khizr (peace be upon him) addressed him (peace be upon him) as, O Ameerul Momineen!
  410. Surely he (peace be upon him) was more knowledgeable than Prophet Moosa (peace be upon him) and Prophet Khizr (peace be upon him) and their knowledge as compared to his (peace be upon him) knowledge was like a drop in the ocean
  411. Khizr (peace be upon him) kissed his (peace be upon him) forehead
  412. Khizr (peace be upon him) honored him (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) mentioned the Holy Imams (peace be upon them)
  413. His marriage to Sayyeda Fatima (peace be upon her) in the heavens and what miracles occurred concerning this with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and his successor (peace be upon him)
  414. Surely Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) is in the seven heavens like the sun in the day on the earth and surely his (name) has been written on every veil in Paradise
  415. Surely his (peace be upon him) (name) is written on ever door in Paradise
  416. It is written on the Door of Paradise that: Ali (peace be upon him) is the brother of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)
  417. Surely his (peace be upon him) (name) is written on the doors of Paradise
  418. Surely when the Door of Paradise was created it said: Ya Ali!
  419. The Love of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is a tree and whosoever clings onto a branch from its branches shall enter Paradise
  420. Surely his (peace be upon him) name is written on the right cheek of the Houries
  421. Surely his (peace be upon him) name is written on every tree from the trees of Paradise, and on every door in it and on the doors of the heavens and the earth and the mountains and the trees
  422. Surely he (peace be upon him) is the Vicegerent of Allah (Waliyullah), and this is written on the location and canopies of the Arsh and on the corners of the heavens and on Paradise and on Hell and on the Air and the corners of the earth
  423. It is written on the Arsh: Ali is the Commander of the Believers and in the Sacred Tablet and on the forehead of Israfeel (peace be upon him) and on the wings of Jibraeel (peace be upon him) and on the heavens and the earths and on the tops of the mountains and the sun and the moon
  424. It is written on the veils: There is no God except Allah, Mohammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) is the Prophet of Allah and Ali is his Successor and on the pillars of the Arsh and on the high mountains of the earths and on the boundaries of the Sacred Tablet
  425. It is written on the legs of the Arsh: He (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) has been helped by Ali (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) has supported him (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)
  426. It is written on the legs of the Arsh: Mohammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and Ali (peace be upon him) and Fatima (peace be upon her) and Hasan (peace be upon him) and Husain (peace be upon him) are the best of the creation of Allah the Most High
  427. He (peace be upon him) was recognized by the angels in the heavens and it is written on the Arsh that surely He has helped the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) through him (peace be upon him) and it is written on every leaf of every tree in (Baab) – garden of Firdaus (Paradise) that surely he (peace be upon him) is the Firmest Handhold (Surah Baqarah: 256) and the Strong Rope of Allah (Surah Ale Imran (3): 103) and His eyes etc.
  428. The Arsh and the Kursi were not completed nor the Heavens nor were the Heavens and the Earth established except that it was written upon them: There is no God except Allah, Mohammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) is the Prophet of Allah, Ali (peace be upon him) is the Commander of the Faithful
  429. Surely Allah the Mighty spoke to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) in the voice of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)
  430. Allah the Majestic sent greetings upon him (peace be upon him)
  431. The caller when Allah the Most High created the Heavens and the Earth
  432. His (peace be upon him) name is written on the Sun
  433. His (peace be upon him) name is written on the face of the Moon.
  434. It was written on the forehead of an angel – half of whom was of fire and half of whom was of ice (that Allah has helped Mohammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) through Ali (peace be upon him))
  435. It is written on the Wings of Jibraeels (peace be upon him) that Surely he (peace be upon him) is the Successor (of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny))
  436. It is written between the shoulders of Sarsareel – Ali (peace be upon him) is the establisher of the Decisive Argument
  437. It is written between the shoulders of an angel: Mohammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) is the Prophet of Allah and Ali (peace be upon him) is his Successor
  438. It is written between the shoulder blades of the angels: Ali (peace be upon him) is the Most Truthful (Siddiqul Akbar)
  439. Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) saw him (peace be upon him) when he prayed Namaz along with the Prophets (peace be upon him) in the Heavens
  440. Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) saw him (peace be upon him) when he was at a distance of two bow-lengths or (even nearer) (Surah Najm (53): 9)
  441. The angel who greeted him (peace be upon him) on his (peace be upon him) Successorship
  442. The angel who informed the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) that surely his (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) nation would dispute regarding his Successor, Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

  446. The caller on the Night of Me’araj: That the best of fathers is your father Ibrahim and the best of brothers is your brother and you appoint him as a successor.

Surely Allah the Glorified, ordered Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) to appoint Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) as a Caliph and Successor and that surely He (peace be upon him) is the Flag of Guidance and the Imam who obeys Allah the Most High and the light of the Saints (of Allah)
  448. The star which came down on his (peace be upon him) door was a proof that surely he (peace be upon him) was the Rightful Leader after Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and the Successor and the Caliph
  449. Surely Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) saw the likeness of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on the Night of Me’araj
  450. Surely he (peace be upon him) has from his Lord the Majestic a great position and closeness and honor
  451. Concerning the majesty of the condition of his (peace be upon him) recognition of Allah and his (peace be upon him) recognition of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)
  452. Surely Allah the Majestic boasted about him (peace be upon him) before the angels
  453. The citrus fruit (Citron) which was gifted to him (peace be upon him) on the day he (peace be upon him) killed Amr ibn Abd Awudd (l.a.)
  454. The glorification of the pomegranate and the grapes on his (peace be upon him) hand
  455. The citrus fruit (Citron) which was gifted to him (peace be upon him)
  456. The one who purchased his (peace be upon him) shield was Jibraeel (peace be upon him) and the eight dirhams were from Allah the Most High

Surely he (peace be upon him) showed Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) to Abu Bakr (l.a.) and he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) ordered him (l.a.) to accept the mastership of Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him) and of eleven of his (peace be upon him) sons (peace be upon him)
  475. Surely he (peace be upon him) showed Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) to Umar (l.a.)

Surely Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) saw Hamzah (peace be upon him), J’afar (al-Tayyar) in a dream and he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) asked them (peace be upon him) about the best action for the hereafter. (The foremost action) from among them was: The love of Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him)
  477. Surely Allah created from the light of the face of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) 70,000 angels who seek forgiveness for him (peace be upon him) and his supporters
  478. He (peace be upon him) informed about the person who asked for several handfuls of dates from Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)
  479. The person who hated him (peace be upon him) and he (l.a.) saw Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) in the Mosque of Quba

  489. Surely the Angel of Death captures the souls of all creation except Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) and Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him), Allah the Majestic captured their souls through His Power and He turned them back towards Himself by His Will
  490. Surely his (peace be upon him) Hunoot and his (peace be upon him) Burial Shroud and the Water (for his Burial Bath) came from Paradise

Surely Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Husain (peace be upon him) met him (peace be upon him) while he (peace be upon him) was (supposed to be) upon his bier and both of them (peace be upon him) saw him (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) spoke to both of them (peace be upon him) on the journey
  492. The one who shall be inclinded towards the red path when he passes by his (peace be upon him) grave
  493. Surely he (peace be upon him) was not seen in his grave after he (peace be upon him) was placed in it and the placing of the bricks upon him (peace be upon him)

Surely Jibraeel (peace be upon him), Mikaeel (peace be upon him) and Israfeel (peace be upon him) and Zamrat (peace be upon him) from the angels participated in his (peace be upon him) burial and the tablet which was found in which he (peace be upon him) was mentioned and the angels helped Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Husain (peace be upon him) during his (peace be upon him) burial bath
  495. The man who said what he said about him (peace be upon him) in his (peace be upon him) praise then people searched for him but did not meet him and he was Prophet Khizr (peace be upon him)
  496. Surely the heavens and the earth wept for him for forty seasons and the skies wept blood for three days
  497. Surely on the day when he (peace be upon him) was martyred not a single stone was raised except that blood was seen under it
