Zaadaan reports, “I heard Salman (may Allah have mercy on him) say, ‘I always love Ali (peace be on him) because I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him and his progeny) strike his (Ali’s) thigh and say, ‘One who loves you loves me and one who loves me, loves Allah. One who bears malice against you, bears malice against me and one who bears malice against me, bears malice against Allah the High.”
