عَنْ اَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَاؑ يَقُولُ الْاَئِمَّةُ عُلَمَاءُ حُلَمَاءُ صَادِقُونَ مُفَهَّمُونَ مُحَدَّثُونَ
Abu Haashim al-Ja’fari (r.a.) reports, “I heard Imam al-Reza (peace be upon him) say,
‘The Imams are knowledgeable, forbearing, truthful, made to understand (by Allah) and spoken to (by the angels)’.”
